There are some rules that go along with this.
1. You have to thank the person who awarded you and link them back in your post.
2. Tell everyone 7 random facts about yourself.
3. Pass the award on to 15 new found bloggers.
4. Contact each blogger and let them know you've passed the award on to them and let the "giver" know you accept the award.

Seven random facts about me:
1. I have been married twice. To the same man and with no divorce :)
2. I never have felt called to homeschool my children. I decided to try it out of obedience to God, and now do it because it works for our family. (I don't think, however, that it is God's will for everyone, although if *I* can do it, anyone can...)
3. Except for grocery shopping (and Sam's Club) I do most of our shopping online, using codes, coupons and free shipping.
4. I love to travel, but traveling and changing my schedule triggers horrible migraines for me. I still do it :)
5. I have a hard time saying no to chocolate (especially Finnish chocolate!) and books.
6. My favorite vacation is spending time at a cabin on a lake (with lots of books, and a sauna, of course!)
7. The Captain and I often communicate via iChat - even if we are in the same room :)

Awww...thanks, Sennu!!! I really appreciate it, though it may be awhile before I can pass it on to anyone else! My life has officially entered my spring crazy season with conventions and on-demand presentations!! That, along with homeschooling Jimmy, will allow me to come up for air in about July!! :-)
ReplyDeleteAre you planning to go to a convention somewhere? Would be fun to see you!
Linda, it was time consuming to do this!! But fun :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'll make it to any conventions (never been to one). I just missed one in Tampa, and I think we'll be in FL when the big New England is on. If you have a list of ones you're attending, send me a message so I can see if we can visit!
Thanks so much; it means a lot to me! Hope your school year is going well. We are on a 10 day break due to losing half my school to a high-adventure Boy Scout sailing trip in the Keys (FL). ~ Ellen
ReplyDeletethanks so much! It is always so sweet to receive an award like this.....a way of knowing that I am possibly helping someone by sharing some of my thoughts. I'm looking at the pictures of suosikkipelimme...and noticing the icicles hanging through your window! WOW! Many Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI meant to say, also...I have been married twice to the same man, as well! But, we did divorce the first time...so glad God does not see that.....
ReplyDeleteI love your reason for home schooling!
Wow, thank you! :) This makes my day... thank you for your kindness. :)
ReplyDeleteyour fellow blogging friend,
sara
Ellen, what a great reason for not doing school!! We will probably take a break this coming week too, as we head to Northern Maine. We've had a good homeschool year, although I am not sure if we can finish our full curriculum this Spring. I'm trying not to worry about it, if they were in traditional school they definitely wouldn't finish all their books :) Today we head to the library, last time we went was in Florida, yikes!
ReplyDeleteRebecca, I think these awards are so fun and rewarding! I was happy to pass along the blessing <3
I'm so glad things worked out with your husband!
And yes, we have some serious icicles hanging from our house!
You're so welcome, Sara <3
Have a wonderful day, ladies!
Thanks so much for thinking of our blog in your honoring, it's a terrific compliment!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to have found you, too. :)
By the way, what is your first name? :) I want to thank you on my blog!
ReplyDeletesara
Stephanie, you are so welcome!!
ReplyDeleteSara, I have a very unusual Finnish first name, so I chose Sennie as my blogger name :)
Look at you with an award! Good job! And thanks for passing it along to me...now what do I do? I received one a loooooong time ago and was clueless...okay, I guess I'm still clueless, ha! :)
ReplyDeleteI awarded you back :) Keep blogging - it is inspiring to see your family!
