Family Time in Southern Maine
After getting off the Nantucket ferry in Hyannis, Massachusetts, we continued our travels and headed to southern Maine, where Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt C, Aunt P and Cousins H, M1 and M2 live.
We missed Cousin H, who was at music camp, but towards the end of our visit did get to spend a couple of days with her, too. Favorite card games with cousins are Rook and Dutch Blitz.
Some of us went on a wonderful bike ride and discovered a gorgeous rocky cove.
This local lady shared some snail whispering secrets (see this previous blog post). She was a kindred spirit in enjoying the cold waters:)
One of the snails.
Walks with this crew are never boring.
Maine coast is so ruggedly beautiful.
Another discovery: hermit crabs! (And a very brave little girl.)
Some tuning up with the Mothership before our travels take us to New Hampshire.
Thanks so much for your lovely hospitality, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt C, Aunt P and Cousins H, M1 and M2, we had a wonderful visit!
