Family and Friends/Perhettä ja ystäviä

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug

We are so enjoying our Maine winter days. Although it has been mostly been spent indoors. The lake has finally frozen over (again), but we haven't (won't!) go on it, yet.

A lot of our snow melted, and instead it has been really cold and windy. Perfect days to have a fire in the fireplace, play a game, read a book or pull out our dusty legos.

We have been so blessed by visitors. Our New Hampshire friends came over for a couple of days, and we enjoyed time together, art and fine dining:)

We also had friends over from church for New Year's Eve. So much fun!!!
(Mr D got some great books for Christmas and stayed up reading most of New Year's Eve night!)

And New Year's day our Maine cousins, Aunt, Uncle, Grandma and Grandpa came. We really had such a wonderful, relaxing time together. More games, more yummy food, more fires in the fireplace.

Beautiful, freezing Maine!

We had one mishap that involved piece of glass and a toe. Good thing Dr. P was around! Thank you!!

We really enjoyed our Christmas break.

Enjoyed being a key word: Yesterday was back to school for us!

Indoors. With a blazing fire in the fireplace. And photos of outside taken through the window glass.

Meillä oli oikein kiva joululoma. Kun saimme flunssat sairastettua, saimme ystäviä kylään New Hampshirestä. Uudenvuodenaattona ystäviä kirkosta tuli meille juhlimaan, ja vuoden ensimmäisenä päivänä saimme etelä-Mainen sukulaiset kylään myös. Ihania, rauhallisia lomapäiviä, paljon yhdessäoloa sisällä pakkasten paukkuessa ja tuulten puhaltaessa. Olemme pelanneet paljon pelejä ja lukeneet kirjoja, etenkin takkatulen äärellä.

Tänään alkoikin koulu taas.

  1. Täälläkin joululumet suli, mutta alkuviikosta tuli uutta tilalle. Nyt toivotaan, että pysyisivät.
