First Official Homeschool Day/Eka kotikoulupäivä
We had a good day. Armed with prayer and God's promises we made it through our first home-home-school day. (Friday was first day of school for us at co-op.)
After Little Miss' three 2nd grade Dew Learning lessons, we decided to take a PE hour (we read through Dew's PE/health lesson, but did our own PE). We walked to the ocean to swim. Please don't hate us!!!:)
After swimming and lunch we finished the rest of the school work. Our teens worked independently on their 9th grade Monarch lessons, and I just finished grading work that needed it. So glad most of their work is graded automatically by the computer/Monarch program.
After all school work, about three in the afternoon we headed back to the beach.
And - you may have guessed it: after dinner we headed back to the beach, too! To watch the sunset and play some games.
Most evenings so far we've had thunder and lightning, so we are loving the nights we can go out. There was some lightning tonight in the distance, but it was a sweet way to end our day by watching the sunset on the beach.
Thank you, Jesus, for guiding us through our first day!

Eka virallinen kotikoulupäivä kotona (perjantaina alkoi kotikouluryhmäopetus kirkossamme) on ohi! Ihan hyvin meni. Kiitollinen mieli - Jeesus kanssamme!

Ihanaa on takuulla! Teilläkin lapset jo noin isoja. Ps. Minun esikoistyttöni odottaa esikoistaan ja tänään tuli 'maagiset' 12 viikkoa täyteen. Minusta tulee Mamma maaliskuussa, mikäli kaikki menee hyvin. Can't wait! Pps olen kutonut jo kaksi vauvanpeittoa.... ;)
