Today was a quite a blustery day, as my sister said. The weather wasn't sure what it wanted to do, and while it was making up it's mind, we decided to chance it and head out to pick blueberries.
The Captain had to take a trip with three of our teens, but the rest of us - four littles (+ one stowaway), one teen and three adults bundled up a bit, packed out tin pails and drove and hiked up to our blueberry spot.
At least one pail got knocked over, but no worries, help was near.
The cutest little picker loved filling her tummy!
We brought home over a gallon of blueberries! Some picked more than others, some ate more than others, but everyone had a wonderful time.
Here's our crew, minus the photographer - my brother-in-law - who is a professional photographer, who, naturally, took all these fantastic photos! Thanks so much!!
And as we were done with blueberry picking, the skies opened up, and it has been pouring rain, with thunder and lightning. We sure are glad we went when we did.

this is a perfect 'blueberries for sal' moment! love it!
