These Days/Näinä päivinä

Running a household is a bit.... challenging these days. We have had to escape to the library to homeschool as our camp has been turned upside down and sideways, and the clanging and banging is enough to drive a saint mad. I'll spare you all the details, just trust me when I say it is not pretty.

But what IS pretty is turning our backs on the camp and looking out to the lake. Peaceful, perfect, beautiful, soul-soothing.

At least after the construction crew has gone home.

I remember now why we are here.

Arki Mainen mökillämme on näinä päivinä todella hankalaa.

  1. Satumaisia maisemakuvia!

    Talokuvan kohdalla toivotan tsemppiä!

  2. When all those repairs are done, it'll be awesome! Just keeping looking at the lake! Beautiful!

  3. So beautiful!! I am in awe of what you are doing..... Love the setting and that would be my dream.
When hubby retires we hope to move to a little cabin in the woods on a lake. We will see if that is what God has in store for us though. You just never know.

Thank you for visiting my blog! You have a beautiful family!

  4. I love beautiful it will be when it is all done ~ it is already a gorgeous view!

  5. Kiitos, Nurkkalintu <3

Jessy, I clearly notice a difference in my attitude on days I'm able to spend more time out on the dock.. Like today - we had a great day :)

Jody, this was our dream for 18 years! We talked about our cabin even when dating and over the years kept looking for one. Feel so blessed now. I hope you will find yourself one day at a cabin on a lake in the woods, enjoying the view <3

Mary, every day as household chores are really CHORES I dream of all this being done. It will be worth it! We love it here!
