Maine Foliage, Part 2/Mainen ruskaa, osa 2

1

Yesterday was so beautiful. Sunny, temps in the lower 70's, and no rain. Water temperature in our shallow waters was 58 F. I am so glad Little Miss and I were able to get out to take these photos, as today was rainy, again. Tomorrow promises more rain, too.

And yes,  these pictures are from the same look-out spot as our Part 1 foliage post. I think the iPhone does a nice job taking pictures, but it's not a DSLR. I definitely think these Nikon pictures turned out better. The only editing I did was crop, add watermark, and most needed a little tweaking in exposure.
But colors are the Creator's original handiwork.

Or as my teenage son exclaimed: "It looks like someone took a paintball gun out and sprayed the bullets all over!"

Yup, I guess. Only if you are a teenage boy.

PS. Free coconut oil, anyone?? I think I only have three entries in my giveaway. Very good chances of winning:)

    Siunausta!

  5. Sennie,

What a stunning area. When I have some free time today, I plan to puruse your blog in more detail. I, too, love the freedome of homeschooling. We would love to travel as your family did in your Airstream, but waiting for the economy to be more friendly to small businesses like ours!
    Bless you.

  6. Laura, we can relate.. We've had to cut down on our trips a lot this year, in fact the Mothership was stored all summer long :-/ You have to weigh in all the costs, and the cost of gas is a biggie. Fortunately we are able to combine our travels with our business, so that makes it doable when we do go.
